Friday's Favorite Fit is brought to you by Moving Comfort! Did you know that Moving Comfort was the first company to make women specific running shorts? Before their entry into the market, all the female runners were making due with shorts designed for men...terrible!
But now, thanks to Moving Comfort, we have shorts designed just for the ladies. One of my favorite pair is the Momentum Short by Moving Comfort. (Buy it HERE!) It's currently on sale for only $27- seriously a price that fits the bill!
These shorts are somewhat similar to the Lululemon Run Speed Short (which retail at $54) but for a fraction of the price. I love the Lululemon Run Speed Short as well, but the Moving Comfort Momentum short fits very similarly.
I bought the purple lime color at the Women's Running event a few months ago at the Running Room in Uptown. (read about that fun event HERE!)
It has a wide waist band for a flattering fit that keeps the shorts comfortably in place. The contrasting trim creates a slimming silhouette.
The shorts have an infinity stretch drawcord that won't pull out in the wash (I've had this happen with some of my Nike tempo shorts). The Momentum Shorts have a lightweight wicking brief liner (which is a whole other fitting depate- to go commando under your running shorts or not?)
My favorite part of the shorts of course is the zippered pocket on the back. I need a secure place to zip up my house key, but the pocket is just big enough to also fit an iPhone, a few GU's, or whatever else you might need on a run!
I ordered the shorts in a small, because they do run a little big. I love this Friday Favorite Fit, and I bet you will too! So go to Moving Comfort now and order a pair!
(I also suggest you order a Serena sports bra- my personal favorite, and on sale now for only $22!)
I just love the gum etiquette and this active wear really impresses me and It seems that this apparel is not only productive but beautifully designed as well.
